女兒與蘋果派
才剛出爐沒幾分鐘她就切了
一塊給我。一絲絲蒸氣
從餅上的縫隙冒出來。糖跟佐料---
肉桂---焦透了餅皮。
她戴著一副墨鏡
不過是早上十點鐘
在自家的廚房---一切都好好地---
她看著我切下
一小塊，送到嘴邊，
試著吹涼。女兒的廚房，
這是冬天。我把派塞進嘴裡
一面告訴自己最好閉嘴。
她說她愛他。沒什麼
比這更糟糕的了。
